Philosophy

My coaching philosophy is to correctly present the game of baseball in a way that prepares the player for all game type situations. Taking into consideration the age and skill level of the player, we will teach the skills of the game with age/skill level appropriate approaches. We look at the big picture of the game as well as looking down the road as to what the player wants to achieve if he/she so chooses to remain in the game. Fundamentals are stressed and skills are broken down in order to begin to understand them. Repetition of muscle memory is key to success in any skill but especially in sport skills.
That’s why we call this LIFETIME-BASEBALL. We want to promote this game to the player, the fan, and perhaps the future coaches of the game. We coach this game with the expectation that the individual wants to succeed at their highest level possible, is willing to work towards that end, and has the support of those around them. An important factor in meeting this success is the enjoyment of the moment, reaching their goals, and an appreciation of the game of baseball.
